Costco is a membership warehouse club that offers members the best possible prices on quality brand-name merchandise. With hundreds of locations worldwide, Costco provides a wide selection of merchandise, plus the convenience of specialty departments and exclusive member services, all designed to make shopping a pleasurable and money-saving experience. You can use your membership card at any Costco warehouse worldwide and online at Costco.com

Costco offers a $30 Costco Shop card to active duty, veteran, and retired military members, spouses or a dependent. who purchase a Costco Membership Activation Certificate as a new member.

How Do I Qualify?

To qualify, enter your information into the SheerID Military Verification tool located on the discount page then take the Costco Membership Activation Certificate to a local Costco Wholesale store’s customer service counter. The $30 Shop Card will be mailed out to the participating member.

Other Ways to Save at Costco

Members can upgrade to Executive membership. Executive members earn an annual 2% Reward (up to $1,000) on qualified Costco purchases. Terms, conditions, and exclusions apply. The Executive Membership upgrade fee is an additional $60 a year for Business or Gold Star Members (plus sales tax where applicable). Costco will prorate the upgrade amount based on the months remaining in your current membership. Purchases made prior to upgrading are not eligible for the 2% Reward. At your next renewal, you will be billed $120 for your Executive Membership.

You can also maximize your membership with a Costco Visa card by Citi that offers cash back up to 4% for certain purchases.

Does Costco Ship To APO/FPO Addresses?

Costco Wholesale does not ship to APO/FPO addresses. They also are not able to deliver items to Post Office boxes, hotels, and a few limited areas.

What isn’t covered by the discount?

Digital Costco Shop Cards are not accepted at gas stations, car wash or food court kiosk. To qualify as a new member, an existing Costco membership must be expired at least 18 months or more. Limit one promotion per household. Promotion is nontransferable and may not be combined with any other promotion. Digital Costco Shop Card is not redeemable for cash, except as required by law.

Can you combine this discount with other offers?

Yes. You can use the card and combine it with discounted specials for greater savings.

Does Costco have a Veterans Day discount?

No, but check the Costco website for a wide selection of other ongoing discounts.
