Solar Panel Military Discounts help reduce the initial cost of installing solar panels on your home. Utilizing solar power continues to grow as a popular alternative and gives users a break in their electricity bill in the long term. It’s said to be the cleanest and most reliable form of energy. A great quality of solar power is that it is always readily available. It’s a source that can be used in several ways to help power your business or home. A solar-powered photovoltaic (PV) panels’ function is converting the sun’s rays into electricity, which in turn, helps consumers save on their electricity bill and reduces harmful emissions that damage the Earth and our atmosphere. Can Veterans Get Free Solar Panels?
Unfortunately, there are no free solar panels for veterans or free special veteran solar panel programs nationally offered. There are many non-veteran specific private and government grants offered that can provide significant savings. Check with your state and local governments and utility companies on the grants they offer. Some grants are for “green” homes or low-income residential energy projects while a few are veteran or disabled veteran specific.
There is also the Veteran’s Administration Energy Efficient Mortgages (EEMs) which allows borrowers to make energy-efficient home improvements and save money on utilities costs all while taking advantage of low VA loan rates.
